Lazy Girl Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese with Casa De Laurel Salsa Macha

Serves: 2–3

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz pasta (macaroni or shells work best)

  • 1 cup roasted butternut squash (or canned, mashed)

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)

  • 1–2 tsp Casa De Laurel Salsa Macha (adjust to your heat preference)

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional: breadcrumbs or parmesan for topping


 

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Mash the butternut squash if using roasted or canned. Add milk and butter/olive oil, stirring until smooth.

  3. Mix in the cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt & pepper.

  4. Add Casa De Laurel Salsa Macha and stir until the sauce is evenly spicy and flavorful.

  5. Combine pasta and sauce in the pot or a baking dish.

  6. Optional: Sprinkle breadcrumbs or extra parmesan on top and broil for 2–3 minutes for a crunchy finish.
